Equipment

  • Wok or Deep-Frying Pan Ideal for stir frying at high heat.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef Steak
  • 1 count red bell pepper
  • 8 oz broccoli
  • 1 count medium onion
  • 0.5 bunch green onions
  • 2 tbsp oil (avocado or olive)
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger to create the stir fry marinade. Set aside.
  • Chop the bell pepper into strips, cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces, slice the onion into half rings, and chop the green onion.
  • Slice the Beef Steak into thin strips against the grain to ensure tenderness.
  • Preheat a wok or deep-frying pan with oil over medium-high heat. Add the veggies (except green onion) and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same wok or pan, add the Beef strips over high heat and cook until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Make sure to stir frequently for even cooking.
  • Add the cooked veggies and green onions back into the wok with the Beef. Pour in the marinade, toss well, and cook on low for 2-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. This step allows all the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  • Serve your beef stir fry as-is or with your favorite side, such as rice or noodles. Enjoy!
