  • 1 cup chicken breast, cubed with salt and pepper
  • 1 cup zucchini, cubed
  • 1 cup squash, cubed
  • 1 cup carrot, sliced
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp brown sugar (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and sesame seeds to make the sauce.
  • Combine the cubed chicken, zucchini, squash, and sliced carrots in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir well to coat everything evenly.
  • Place the coated chicken and veggies in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer without stacking.
  • Air fry at 380°F for 15-20 minutes, pausing every 5 minutes to shake the basket for even cooking.
  • Once cooked, sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish.
  • Serve the chicken hibachi with rice, cauliflower rice, or your favorite side.

Notes

Feel free to add a sprinkle of brown sugar to the sauce for a touch of sweetness.
