Instructions
Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove dirt. Pop or cut off the stems from the caps.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps generously.
Press the tops into shredded cheddar cheese to coat.
Spray the air fryer basket with oil and arrange mushrooms in a single layer.
Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C) and cook for 4-6 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked bacon bits or herbs like parsley or thyme into the cream cheese mixture.
