  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can water use one of the soup cans
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is crucial for ensuring even cooking.
  • Grease a 9x13” casserole dish with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, Minute rice, and one can of water. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • Place the chicken breasts over the rice mixture, ensuring they are evenly spaced for even cooking.
  • Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts. This adds a burst of flavor!
  • Dot the top with butter, which will melt and add richness as it cooks.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Check for doneness to ensure a safe and delicious meal.
