Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the beef bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, jalapeno, and chopped bacon.
Spread the cheese and bacon mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
Fold the puff pastry in half lengthwise over the filling and press gently to seal.
Cut the pastry into strips about 1/2 inch wide.
Twist each strip a few times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the twists with the beaten egg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Allow the twists to cool slightly before serving.

You can customize the filling by adding different cheeses or herbs for variety.
