Equipment

  • Large Skillet For cooking all ingredients together.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 0.5 cup Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 8 ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 2 cups Minute Rice
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Cooked Bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onions over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to crumble the beef as it cooks.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  • Season the mixture with seasoned salt. Then, stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Minute Rice, and beef broth. Mix well and bring to a light simmer, about 2-3 minutes, until the broth is absorbed.
  • Once the broth is absorbed, stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and 1/2 cup of chopped bacon until well combined.
  • Top the mixture with the remaining cheese and bacon. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it steam for a few minutes to melt the cheese completely.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy this hearty meal! For added freshness, consider garnishing with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley or green onions on top before serving.
