Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 pieces bone-in chicken thighs
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). While it’s heating, place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Generously brush or spoon the honey mustard mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C). For a crispy skin, turn on the top oven broiler during the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking.
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the honey mustard mixture for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
