  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt or more to taste

Instructions
 

  • If your chicken breasts are thick, gently pound them with a meat mallet until they are about 1/2-inch thick for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to create a marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. If you have extra time, let the chicken marinate for 10 minutes for enhanced flavor.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 165°F (75°C).

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
