  • 6 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bang bang sauce
  • 1 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Season the chicken thighs evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Once hot, add the seasoned chicken thighs.
  • Cook the chicken for 5 minutes on one side.
  • Then, flip them over, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for another 5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate, tenting it with foil to keep warm.
  • Pour the bang bang sauce into the skillet, stirring and scraping up the brown bits from the bottom.
  • Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

You can adjust the spice level of the bang bang sauce to suit your taste by adding more or less heat.
