  • 0.333 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup imitation crab meat, chopped
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it's hot enough for even baking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab meat, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, sour cream, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Tip: Make sure the cream cheese is soft to avoid lumps in your mixture.
  • Gently fold in the shredded Swiss cheese until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Scoop the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Tip: Use a spatula to smooth the top for a nice presentation.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly. Tip: Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  • About 5 minutes before the cooking time is up, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake until the cheddar is melted and slightly golden.

Serve this delicious dip with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping. For a little extra kick, consider adding a dash of hot sauce or some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
