1cupfresh blueberries
1teaspoongranulated sugar
2tablespoonsHellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
4slicessourdough bread
4ouncessliced Gruyere cheese
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries and granulated sugar. Cook over medium-high heat, mashing occasionally with a fork, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
Place the Gruyere cheese slices on 2 slices of sourdough bread.
Spread the blueberry mixture over the cheese on the bread slices. Top with the remaining 2 slices of bread to create a sandwich.
Spread Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise evenly on the outside of the sandwiches.
Cook the sandwiches in a large nonstick skillet or on a grill over medium heat, flipping once, until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
