Main Ingredients

  • 1 large store-bought flatbread about 14x5 inches or 2 smaller ones
  • 0.5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 ounces brie cheese room temperature, rind removed
  • 0.25 cup shallots thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary finely chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons honey divided
  • 2 -3 pears cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces prosciutto thinly sliced and torn into strips
  • 0.25 cup walnuts caramelized or roasted, chopped
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C) and place the flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the top of the flatbread with a thin coating of olive oil. Bake for 5 minutes to crisp the crust.
  • Remove from the oven and keep it on. Spread the brie cheese evenly over the flatbread.
  • Scatter the sliced shallots over the brie, sprinkle with rosemary, and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • Arrange the pear slices on top, add the prosciutto strips, and chopped walnuts. Drizzle with remaining honey.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until pears soften, cheese melts, and crust edges turn golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, omit the prosciutto or substitute it with your favorite veggies like arugula or roasted bell peppers. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
