9x13-inch baking pan Line with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
0.5cupbrown sugar
1packetItalian Dressing Mix
6piecesboneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425ºF (220ºC) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and Italian Dressing Mix. This mixture will provide a delicious coating for your chicken.
Generously coat both sides of the chicken breasts with the brown sugar mixture, ensuring each piece is well-covered.
Place the coated chicken in the prepared baking pan and sprinkle any remaining brown sugar mixture on top. This will help create a caramelized crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165ºF (74ºC).
Switch your oven to broil on HIGH and broil the chicken for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning. This step enhances the caramelization of the brown sugar.
Notes
For a tangier flavor, you can add a splash of balsamic vinegar to the brown sugar mixture before coating the chicken.
