  • 2 cup butternut squash, cubed
  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 0.25 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
  • 0.25 cup cold light margarine
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the cubed butternut squash and sliced apples in a 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix the Splenda brown sugar blend, cold light margarine, flour, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the squash and apples in the baking dish.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until the squash is tender.
  • Serve warm and savor the flavors!

Notes

For added crunch and taste, consider tossing in some chopped nuts or dried cranberries.
