- 1/2 pound smoked sausage sliced into rounds
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 medium green pepper chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 can 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 can 14.5 ounces chicken broth
- 2-3 cups chopped cabbage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1/2 pound beef sausage
- 1/2 cup long grain rice
