450g salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/4
cup
60ml maple syrup
2
tbsp
30ml soy sauce
1
tbsp
15ml olive oil
1
tsp
5g garlic powder
1/2
tsp
3g black pepper
1/4
tsp
1g salt
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (110°C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Place the marinated salmon cubes on the smoker rack.
Smoke the salmon for about 1-1.5 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C), basting with the remaining marinade occasionally.
Once done, remove the salmon cubes from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Notes:
For added flavor, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds or chopped green onions on the salmon cubes before serving.
