Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup 60ml maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp 30ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp 15ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp 5g garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp 3g black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp 1g salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F (110°C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Place the marinated salmon cubes on the smoker rack.
  • Smoke the salmon for about 1-1.5 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C), basting with the remaining marinade occasionally.
  • Once done, remove the salmon cubes from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:
For added flavor, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds or chopped green onions on the salmon cubes before serving.
