Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1.5 teaspoons dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cooked chicken breast cubed
  • 1 oz shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 slice extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices Dave's Killer Bread

Instructions

  • Heat a medium-sized skillet over low heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and dry ranch dressing mix. Add in the crumbled bacon, cubed chicken, and shredded cheddar cheese. Tip: Make sure to combine the ingredients well for an even flavor throughout.
  • Spread an equal amount of butter on both sides of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, into the warm skillet. Layer with the slice of cheddar cheese and the bacon, chicken, and cheese mixture. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  • Increase the heat to medium and cook until the bread is browned and crispy, about 2-4 minutes. Tip: Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  • Flip the sandwich and cook until the second slice of bread is slightly browned. Then, place a bowl over the sandwich for an additional minute to melt the cheese.
  • Serve the grilled cheese sandwich immediately. Tip: It pairs well with a side of chips or a fresh salad!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add sliced tomatoes or avocado to the sandwich before grilling.
