  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 ounce onion soup and dip mix
  • 10.5 ounce cream of condensed chicken soup
  • 10.5 ounce cream of condensed cheese soup
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups instant rice
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 2.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion soup mix. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup, cream of cheese soup, and sour cream to the skillet with the beef. Mix well.
  • Pour in the chicken or beef broth and stir to incorporate.
  • Stir in the instant rice and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until the mixture is well combined.
  • Transfer the beef mixture into the greased baking dish and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

Notes

You can customize this casserole by adding vegetables like peas, carrots, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
