Ingredients
  

  • 4 ounces diced green chiles Hatch preferred, any heat level
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or mozzarella, or pepperjack
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes hot sauce to taste
  • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or mozzarella, or pepperjack

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a bowl, mix the diced green chiles, cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and hot sauce.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top it with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Bake the cheese dip until the cheese is melted and bubbly around the edges.
  • Serve hot with chips or crostini for dipping.

Notes:
For a spicier kick, consider using pepper jack cheese or adding more hot sauce to the dip.
