  • 2 lbs tater tots
  • 26 oz cream of chicken soup gluten-free if needed
  • 1 lb diced ham
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, diced ham, chopped onion, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  • Gently fold in 1 lb of tater tots into the mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray or butter. Pour the ham and tater tot mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top the casserole with the remaining tater tots, arranging them in a single layer for even cooking. Then, sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes. Keep an eye on it; you want the tater tots to be golden brown and the casserole to be bubbly.
  • Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free cream of chicken soup and ensure all other ingredients are gluten-free.
