  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound shredded cooked turkey
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2.5 cups shredded cheese Your favorite variety
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon minced parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 395°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • Slice the mushrooms and set them aside. Having pre-sliced mushrooms can save time!
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms, frozen broccoli florets, and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the shredded cooked turkey, sea salt, black pepper, and minced parsley. Then, add 1 cup of shredded cheese and the heavy cream. Mix well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Remember to keep stirring to avoid any sticking!
  • Transfer the turkey and vegetable mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top for a gooey finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Keep an eye on it to prevent over-browning.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with additional parsley if desired, and serve warm. Enjoy the delightful aroma!

Notes

Feel free to use any cheese you love, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend. For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked onions or bell peppers.
