Instructions
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to whip the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
Mix in 1/4 cup of milk until smooth, then add the remaining 1/4 cup of milk and mix again until fully combined.
Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is fluffy and well combined.
Break the angel food cake into small pieces and add them to the whipped mixture. Fold gently to combine, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
Spoon the cake mixture into a 9x13-inch glass baking pan and spread it evenly.
Spread the cherry pie filling on top of the cake mixture evenly.
Cover the pan and refrigerate until serving, allowing the flavors to meld.
Notes
For a twist, try using blueberry or strawberry pie filling instead of cherry.
