Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried sage
  • 6 ounce herb-seasoned dry bread stuffing mix
  • 10.75 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 10.75 ounce condensed cream of celery soup
  • 2.5 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix the butter, sage, and stuffing mix until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Place the cut chicken over the stuffing mixture in the baking dish.
  • In the same bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and water. Mix thoroughly, then pour this mixture over the chicken in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

Feel free to add some vegetables like peas or carrots to the casserole for extra flavor and nutrition. You can also sprinkle some shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for a cheesy twist.
