  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter or any nut or seed butter
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil or grass-fed butter

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Place the crispy rice cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Melt the ingredients together until smooth. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the crispy rice cereal. Mix until the cereal is evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into the lined baking dish. Refrigerate for at least an hour until it sets.
  • Once firm, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars.

Notes

Feel free to customize these treats by adding nuts, dried fruit, or a sprinkle of sea salt on top before refrigerating.
