In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped almonds, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated and well combined. Tip: Ensure the mixture is moist enough to hold together, adding a bit more condensed milk if necessary.
Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to form the mixture into balls and place them on the prepared cookie sheet, spacing them 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart as they will spread while baking.
Dip your fingers in cold water and gently press down on each cookie dough ball to form a thick disc. Tip: This helps to flatten them without sticking to your fingers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes or until the edges turn golden. Be mindful as the cookies will be soft when they come out of the oven.
