  • 10 pieces fresh chicken tenders about 1-½ pounds
  • 1 oz package ranch dressing mix
  • 5 oz cheddar cheese slices cut in half
  • 10 slices bacon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a cooking rack on top.
  • Season both sides of the chicken tenders with 1 tablespoon of the ranch dressing mix.
  • Place a half slice of cheddar cheese on top of each chicken tender, then wrap each with a slice of bacon. Put them on the prepared baking rack. Lightly sprinkle additional ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165ºF (75ºC).
  • Switch on the broiler and cook the chicken for an additional minute or two until the bacon turns crisp. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken tenders in the ranch dressing mix for a few hours before cooking.
