  • 2 cup frozen or fresh cranberries
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 orange zest & juice
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.25 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1 tbsp honey adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, maple syrup, orange zest, orange juice, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 6-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cranberries burst and form a jam-like consistency. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • For the whipped feta, blend the crumbled feta cheese, Greek yogurt, chili flakes, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
  • Once the cranberry mixture has cooled, assemble the dip by layering the whipped feta in a low bowl. Top with the cranberry compote, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, drizzle with honey, and add fresh thyme leaves if desired.

Notes

This dip pairs well with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey based on personal preference.
