Equipment

  • Large Skillet For cooking the beef and sauce.
  • Pot For boiling the pasta.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 ounces farfalle pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 can corn (15 ounces, drained)
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated, plus more for garnish
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set both aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Stir in the corn, heavy cream, ranch seasoning mix, paprika, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until evenly coated with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Notes

For a touch of freshness, consider adding some cherry tomatoes or spinach to the dish before serving.
