heavy cream

butternut squash puree

garlic

tablespoons
fresh sage
chopped

tablespoons
fresh thyme

coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions
Slice the Italian sausage after removing it from the casings.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sliced sausage and cook for 4 minutes without turning.
Flip the sausage and cook for an additional 2 minutes until browned.
Add gnocchi, heavy cream, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
Cover and let cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
Add butternut squash puree and garlic; bring to a boil then reduce heat.
Cook for 3 minutes or until gnocchi are cooked through.
Stir in half of the sage and thyme; season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve topped with remaining sage and thyme.
