1lbgnocchi (regular, cauliflower, or sweet potato)
1tablespoonextra-virgin olive oil1-2 tablespoons depending on preference
0.5teaspoongarlic powder
0.5teaspoonsalt
0.5teaspoonblack pepper
2tablespoonsfreshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F and lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the gnocchi with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. If using frozen gnocchi, do not thaw it before cooking.
Add the seasoned gnocchi to the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping to crisp up evenly.
For Shelf-Stable & Refrigerated Gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 11-14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy on all sides. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
For Frozen Gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 13-16 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Remember, frozen gnocchi may take a little longer but should be perfectly crispy when done.
Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy as a side dish, appetizer with marinara or pesto dipping sauce, or as a crunchy addition to salads.
Notes
Experiment with different seasonings like Italian herbs or chili flakes for varied flavors. Serve the air-fried gnocchi hot for the best texture.
