  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons oil (olive, canola, or vegetable)

For the honey butter sauce

  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 3.5 oz unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl or flat plate, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Coat the chicken pieces well with the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is fully covered.
  • Heat a large pan over medium-high heat with oil. Cook the chicken until crispy and golden brown on each side, approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, set it aside on a plate to rest.
  • In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Mix well and cook for about 2 minutes until bubbly.
  • Add the cooked chicken to the sauce, ensuring it's well coated. Cook for an additional minute to let the sauce stick to the chicken.
  • Serve hot and savor the delicious honey butter chicken chunks, garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
