  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning store-bought or homemade

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with olive oil and set it aside.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper according to your taste preference.
  • In three separate shallow bowls, set up your coating station. Mix flour with a pinch of salt and pepper in the first bowl. Place beaten eggs in the second bowl. Combine Panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and ranch seasoning in the third bowl.
  • Coat each seasoned chicken breast by first dredging it in the flour mixture, then dipping it in the beaten eggs, and finally coating it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure a crispy exterior.
  • Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray to encourage browning and crispiness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and turns golden brown. Consider checking the chicken a few minutes early to avoid overcooking.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken during the last few minutes of baking.
