Equipment

  • Slow Cooker Use a standard slow cooker for best results.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 24 oz frozen meatballs
  • 18 oz orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • cup Sriracha sauce or soy sauce
  • 2 green onions finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon ginger paste

Instructions

  • In your slow cooker, combine the frozen meatballs, orange marmalade, yellow mustard, rice vinegar, and Sriracha sauce. Stir well to coat the meatballs evenly. This step is crucial for ensuring every meatball is packed with flavor.
  • Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, or until the sauce is bubbling and the meatballs are heated through. Make sure to check occasionally to avoid any sticking.
  • After an hour, give the mixture a good stir. If you’re using garlic and ginger paste, add them now for an extra flavor boost. These ingredients add depth and aroma to the dish.
  • Switch the slow cooker to the warm setting to keep the meatballs hot until you’re ready to serve. This is a great way to ensure they stay deliciously warm for your guests.
  • When serving, sprinkle the finely chopped green onions on top for a fresh touch. This not only enhances the flavor but also adds a pop of color to your dish.

Notes

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of Sriracha sauce or substitute it with soy sauce.
