Deep-Fried S’mores

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Graham Cracker Sheets
  • 8 Large Marshmallows
  • 4 Hershey’s Chocolate Bars
  • 1 1/2 cups Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot for frying.
  • In a bowl, mix pancake mix, egg, milk, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil until most lumps are gone. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble the s'mores by breaking graham crackers in half. Place a marshmallow on one graham cracker half, top with half a chocolate bar, and another graham cracker square. Repeat for all s'mores.
  • Dip each s'more in the batter using tongs, shaking gently to remove excess batter.
  • Using tongs, carefully place the battered s'mores into the hot oil. Hold them until the batter starts to cook to prevent falling apart. Fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the fried s'mores with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Repeat for all s'mores.
  • Let the s'mores cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

For a twist, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to the pancake mix for extra flavor.
