  • 2 each Boneless Chicken Thighs with Skin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Sake No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
  • 1 tbsp fresh grated Ginger
  • 2 cloves grated Garlic

Instructions
 

  • Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Once hot, place the chicken in the pan, skin side down, and pan-fry for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside on a plate.
  • In the same pan, pour in the teriyaki sauce mixture. Let it simmer for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and let it cook in the sauce for 4-6 minutes. Continuously pour the sauce over the chicken to coat it and prevent burning.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds for an added crunch and flavor contrast.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Teriyaki Chicken Thighs!

Notes

For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken in the teriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking.
