Optional Additions: kimchi, canned tuna, roasted seaweed flakes, avocado, sautéed carrots/spinach/zucchini, or more protein
Instructions
Mix the hot cooked rice with the butter in a large bowl until well combined.
Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Fry the egg sunny side up or to your desired doneness.
Once the egg is cooked, place it over the buttered rice in the serving bowl.
Garnish the bowl with sesame seeds, sesame oil, chopped green onions, and soy sauce. Adjust the soy sauce to taste.
Break the egg on top and mix everything together gently until well combined. Enjoy while hot for the best flavor!
Notes
If using leftover rice, microwave it covered for 2-3 minutes until hot. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
