Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside.
In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, French onion dip, 2 cups of chicken stock, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and half of the French fried onions.
Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top it with the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheese and the rest of the French fried onions. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted, and the casserole is bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked and crumbled bacon before baking.
