Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not soggy.
  • Place the coated bread slices onto the heated skillet or griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  • Once both sides are cooked to your liking, remove the French toast from the skillet.
  • Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brioche or challah bread. Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth in the flavor profile.
