Instructions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Cook while stirring constantly until all the sugar is absorbed by the butter, about 30-60 seconds.
Mix in the apples and lemon juice. Cook, stirring frequently, until the apples are softened, coated in the sauce, and tender when pierced with a fork, approximately 10 minutes.
Serve warm as desired. They are delicious on their own or served with vanilla ice cream, over pancakes, or any way you prefer!
