1.5cupscooked and shredded boneless skinless chicken breast
0.25cupred onion, diced
0.75cupMozzarella cheese
1teaspoonfresh thyme, chopped
0.5teaspoondried oregano
1tablespoonfresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Prepare a baking sheet by using a silicone baking mat or greasing it and sprinkling it with cornmeal to prevent sticking.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Sauté the minced roasted garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. This will enhance the garlic flavor in your sauce.
Add the flour to the pan and mix until well blended. Cook for an additional minute to remove the raw flour taste.
Slowly whisk in the skim milk and half and half until smooth. Add the black pepper for seasoning.
Continue to cook the mixture for about 3 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens. Once thickened, remove it from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
Spread the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a 12-inch circle. This is a great opportunity to get your hands involved and have fun with the dough!
Evenly spread the white garlic sauce over the dough. Be sure to cover it well for maximum flavor.
Top the pizza with the shredded chicken, diced red onions, and sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh thyme, dried oregano, and fresh parsley for a burst of flavor. Cut into slices and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add some sliced cherry tomatoes or bell peppers as additional toppings.
