  • 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack, Colby, Swiss
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter as needed

Instructions
 

  • Flatten the slices of bread using a rolling pin.
  • Place a slice of cheese on each flattened bread slice. Roll them up and secure with a toothpick.
  • Brush the outside of the roll-ups with melted butter.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and place the roll-ups seam side down.
  • Turn the roll-ups with tongs until all sides are browned, and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot and savor the cheesy goodness!
