In a food processor, pulse the quartered onion and fresh parsley until finely chopped.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped parsley and onion mixture, salt, black pepper, seven spice blend, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly using your hands.
Take some of the mixture and mold it around a skewer, forming kebabs about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
Preheat your charcoal or gas grill to medium-high. If using a gas grill, brush it with oil. Place the kafta skewers on the grill.
Grill the kebabs for about 4 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through.
Serve hot and enjoy!
