  • 2 lb Granny Smith Apples Weight before peeling
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 2 white sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 2 ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 2 baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 2 unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 scope vanilla ice cream Optional for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Peel the apples and cut them into 1.5 cm (1/2 inch) cubes.
  • In a bowl, combine the apple cubes with flour, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • For the crumble topping, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, melted butter, and salt in a bowl until clumps form.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples, using your fingers to create a crumbly texture if needed.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Once done, remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil, and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Notes

For an extra touch, consider adding a sprinkle of chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans to the crumble topping before baking.
