  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 /2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 /4 cup honey
  • 1 /4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 /2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 /2 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prep the chicken by tossing the chicken cubes with cornstarch until fully coated.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and melt butter. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, red pepper flakes, honey, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Whisk well to make the sauce.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low, toss everything together, and cook for a couple more minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Garnish the dish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over rice or with steamed veggies for a complete meal. Enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a tangy twist.
