Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken wings
  • 1.5 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted hot
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce or buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Remove the chicken wings from the refrigerator and pat them dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving crispy skin!
  • In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss them well to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared sheet for even cooking.
  • Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.
  • While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, hot sauce, and honey. Whisk until well blended.
  • Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour some of the hot honey sauce over the wings and toss to coat them thoroughly.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking. Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce based on your spice preference. Serve with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce for a complete experience!
