  • 1 ball of pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 2 fresh jalapeños sliced and seeds removed (leave seeds for extra spice)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese about 4 slices
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives to garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Lightly grease a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil. Shape the pizza dough into a 10-inch diameter circle using your hands. Place it on the prepared pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border of about 3/4-1 inch. Add mozzarella cheese slices, then sprinkle the shredded jack cheese on top. Place the jalapeño slices over the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Top with chives or any desired toppings. Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then slice and savor!

Notes

Feel free to customize your pizza with additional toppings like cooked bacon or diced tomatoes.
