Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large skillet, heat the oil over high heat. Add the minced garlic and finely chopped onion, cooking until golden for about 2 minutes.
Add the ground beef and cook for 2 minutes, breaking it up until it changes color from red to light brown.
Sprinkle in the taco seasonings and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the beef is fully cooked.
Stir in the tomato paste and water. Cook for 1 minute until the water evaporates, leaving a juicy beef filling.
Arrange taco shells in a baking pan, fill them with the beef mixture, and top with cheese. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese melts and the shells turn crispy (optional).
Serve the tacos hot from the oven. Set out the toppings and sauces on the table for everyone to assemble their own tacos.
