  • 32 ounces tater tots
  • 1.5 cups cooked leftover taco meat
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup guacamole more or less to taste
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • 0.25 cup diced tomatoes
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the tater tots according to the package instructions on a large, parchment-lined baking sheet. Make sure to spread them out in a single layer for even cooking.
  • When there are about 5 minutes left on the timer, carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle the cooked taco meat and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven and let it cook for the remaining 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once done, take the baking sheet out of the oven. Use a spoon to drop dollops of guacamole and sour cream over the cheesy tater tots.
  • Finish by sprinkling the pickled jalapeños, diced tomatoes, and fresh cilantro on top.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious tater tot nachos!

Notes

Feel free to customize your toppings! You can add black olives, green onions, or any other favorite nacho toppings. For a spicier kick, consider using spicy guacamole or adding more jalapeños.
