  • 5 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 8 pieces chicken tenders
  • 1 cup brown gravy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • If using frozen chicken tenders, let them sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften.
  • Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish. If the mashed potatoes are cold, warm them first.
  • Sprinkle the corn and cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  • Slice the chicken tenders into pieces of your desired size and place them on top of the casserole.
  • Bake the casserole uncovered for 20 minutes if using frozen chicken tenders, or 15 minutes for homemade chicken tenders.
  • While the casserole is baking, prepare the brown gravy on the stovetop.
  • Once the casserole is done baking, drizzle your desired amount of gravy over the dish.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize this casserole by adding other vegetables like peas or carrots. Feel free to season the chicken tenders with your favorite spices before baking for extra flavor.
