  • 1 lb thick-cut bacon
  • 6 tbsp tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp racked black pepper
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix brown sugar, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the bacon slices in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle the sugar and spice mixture over the bacon, pressing gently to coat evenly on both sides.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes until the bacon reaches your desired crispiness, being careful not to burn the sugar.
  • Once done, transfer the bacon to a cooling rack to slightly cool before serving.
